Year 5 we tackled a very different sort of challenge: the world’s longest slot canyon, 23 miles and 2 days through an otherworldly landscape of sculpted sandstone. It was much harder than we expected because of uneven terrain of rock, sand, boulder piles and mud up to our waists, carrying camping gear and two days of water on our backs.
Thirteen hikers participated, raising over $19,000 for The Trevor Project.
