About the Event
Join Trailmixer, led by Trailmaster Rick, for a February hike to Mt. Deception, Mt. Disappointment and San Gabriel Peak! This hike will total around 8 miles and 2800' gain, rated at moderate difficulty. With a clear day, we'll be able to see our beautiful snow-covered mountains like Mt. Baldy, San Jacinto and Gorgonio. Bring water, layers (it can get chilly in the AM), and a snack or lunch. There are some semi-steep portions, so bring trekking poles if that's your jam. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
This incredible hike will begin from the Red Box Picnic Area (take Angeles Crest Hwy) on parking lot at 8:30 AM. This is a popular area and the parking lot fills up so carpool if you can!
